By purchasing, installing, or using any item sold by us, the buyer expressly agrees to the following terms.

Product Condition & Verification

All items are pre-owned (used) and may show signs of cosmetic wear consistent with prior use.

Each unit undergoes functional testing, inspection, and verification prior to shipment. Testing confirms that the item performs its intended primary function at the time of dispatch. For regular plastic/rubber material components, a visual check is performed to ensure it is not broken.

However, due to the nature of used electronic and mechanical parts:

  • No guarantee is made regarding lifespan, longevity, or future performance
  • Installation conditions, external components, or user handling may affect operation

Compatibility & Buyer Due Diligence

The buyer assumes full responsibility for verifying compatibility prior to purchase. Compatibility must be confirmed by:

  • Matching part numbers exactly
  • Confirming model, revision, and version compatibility
  • Consulting a qualified technician where necessary

We explicitly disclaim responsibility for:

  • Incorrect purchases due to misidentification
  • Assumptions based on appearance or partial matches
  • Failure to verify manufacturer specifications
  • Failure to carefully review all listing photos and descriptions for cosmetic condition, wear, or imperfections prior to purchase
Buyers are strongly encouraged to contact us prior to purchase for assistance. Failure to do so does not transfer responsibility to the seller.

Installation & Use

All items must be installed by a qualified professional or competent individual. We are not liable for:

  • Damage caused during installation
  • Improper wiring, configuration, or setup
  • Misuse, neglect, or modification of the product
  • Damage during shipping
Note: Any such actions void eligibility for return or refund.

Return Policy (30 Days)

Returns are accepted within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be returned in the exact condition in which it was shipped, including all stickers not being removed, intact and untampered
  • The item must be properly packaged to prevent transit damage
  • All original components, accessories, and materials must be included

Failure to meet these conditions may result in rejection of the return or partial refund.

Inspection & Refund Determination

At our sole discretion, and where permitted by applicable platform policies, refunds may be issued in the form of:

  • Original payment method, or
  • Store credit / voucher for in-store use

Store credit/vouchers:

  • Are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash
  • May be subject to an expiration period
  • Can only be used toward future purchases with our store

We reserve the right to issue store credit instead of a monetary refund, particularly in cases including but not limited to:

  • Buyer error (incorrect purchase, incompatibility, misidentification)
  • Non-defective returns
  • Situations where return conditions are partially met

All returned items undergo mandatory inspection and testing.

Restocking Fee Policy

Approved returns that are not due to a verified defect or seller error may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10-20% of the purchase price, in addition to all applicable shipping costs.

This fee covers inspection, testing, handling, and relisting of returned items and will be deducted from the refund or store credit issued.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds (store credit/voucher or monetary, shipping charges not refunded) will only be issued if:

  • The item is returned unaltered, undamaged, and fully intact
  • All tamper-evident warranty/security stickers remain intact and unbroken
  • The item passes identification verification (matching serials/marks)

Partial Refund or Denial

We reserve the right to issue a partial store credit/voucher refund or deny the return entirely if:

  • Warranty/security stickers are missing, altered, or damaged
  • The item shows signs of installation damage, electrical damage, physical damage, tampering, or modification
  • Components or parts are missing
  • The returned item does not match the original item shipped
In such cases, compensation may be issued in the form of partial refund, store credit, or no refund, at the seller's discretion.

Tampering, Fraud & Abuse Prevention

All items are marked with identification measures, including but not limited to:

  • Serial number tracking
  • Hidden or visible markings
  • Tamper-evident warranty stickers

Any attempt to return a different item, alter identifying features, or remove/bypass warranty seals will result in:

  • Immediate denial of refund
  • Reporting to the applicable platform and/or payment processor
  • Potential further action where applicable

Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including:

  • Shipping to us
  • Return shipping
  • Any additional shipping required, including return for warranty

Insurance

Standard shipping includes insurance up to $100. If you need to insure your item for its full value, an additional fee applies. Please request from us to add insurance for your item on the way back to you to get coverage for the full amount of your item's worth.

Shipping & Risk of Damage

All items are professionally packaged to minimize risk of damage in transit. Once shipped:

  • The carrier assumes responsibility for delivery
  • Any shipping damage must be reported promptly

Improper return packaging that results in damage will void refund eligibility.

Claims Policy

All claims for damage, loss, or delay during shipping must be handled directly with the shipping carrier. Appliances Parts Store will assist by providing available documentation (photos, videos, invoices, etc.) when possible; however, we do not assume liability for any shipping-related issues.

Liability Disclaimer

Full responsibility for any damage, loss, theft, delays, wrong delivery, or mishandling lies solely with the shipping carrier, not with Appliances Parts Store. This applies to all shipments, including:

  • Customer to our facility
  • Our facility to customer
  • Shipments to or from third parties, businesses, or any designated location

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of use, loss of income, or additional repair costs
  • Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service

By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Terms & Conditions.

"By completing this purchase, I acknowledge and agree to the seller's Terms & Conditions in full. I understand that all items are used, tested, and sold as-is with respect to compatibility, and that I am solely responsible for verifying part numbers and fitment prior to purchase. I accept that returns are limited to 30 days and are strictly subject to inspection, and that full refunds are only issued for items returned unaltered with all warranty/security seals intact. I further understand and agree that, where applicable, refunds may be issued in the form of store credit or voucher for future use, at the seller's discretion. I agree that any tampering, damage, misuse, or failure to comply with return requirements may result in partial refund, store credit, or denial of refund."
